Consumers are animals that eat to survive and they don't make their own food. Consumers need producers to survive. Well some do. See consumers called Carnivores only eat meat so they eat other animals. But there are other animals call Herbivores who only eat plants. they eat the producers(plants) and the Carnivores eat them. It helps the population so it doesn't come unbalanced. Finally it's decomposers. Decomposers are plants that die and decompose into soil. All animals are consumers they eat plants or other animals for energy. And lastly decomposers are bacteria or fungi they consume non-living or dead plants or animals. Things that are imbalance(not balance) a ecosystem are things like volcanoes and people can also damage a ecosystem. You can help a ecosystem by just picking up trash or using less water.

But sometimes that's not enough. People can kill animals, wreck their habitat, and pollute the animals' air. This make the ecosystem imbalanced. To stop this we can use less electricity, stop polluting the air, stop hunting and destroying habitats, and build animal needs in your backyard.

Ecosystems are one of the most important things in Earth's surface and their are removing other plants but that's affecting other plants and other natural resources but consumers are eating or taking away other animals food like here's an example giraffes they eat plants so other animals can't eat them and other animals would die and animals are important even in our lives there important because they give us food material shelter water and other natural resources and we could use those kind of stuff to make buildings shelter desks schools public libraries banks homes and even furniture
