3. Put resources into a Google doc and email to bookers@nostoschools.org
4. DRAW out how you think you will create your sculpture. Drawings of front and side view, as well as explanations of your process (i.e. I will create a ball of clay, hollow it out, and shape it into ice cream. I will make the cone out of a slab of clay.). 
5. Show Mrs B your drawings. Post pic of drawings to Padlet. 
6. Depending on the complexity of your project, I may ask you to make it out of PAPER first. 
7. Start a mini-version.

1. You must ALWAYS use a resource as you draw. A good resource could be a professional drawing, an image, a how-to video, etc. TIP: If you’re trying to draw, for example, a castle, search for “drawing of a castle,” instead of just “castle.” 
2. You may work alone or with one partner.
3. You must use SYMBOLS in your map. 
4. You map can be of a real or totally imagined place, but it must tell a story of the land/city/country/world/planet.
5. Your map/land/city/planet must have a title or name.

3. Have someone in your group dedicated to working on the artwork for your game. They can do that instead of making things out of paper :)

1. Create a value scale (dark to light). No value ledges :(
2. Use your smudger in small circles, going from dark to light
3. When shading your objects, keep it DARK on the outside edges, and LIGHT in the middle.
4. Practice at least 2 of your objects using this technique. Show two people before you show Mrs B.
5. If all your stuff looks great, Mrs B will give you final paper!

1. You can finish drawing/fine tuning your 3-part-monster! You can use most of the supplies in the room, just make sure to double-up your paper when using markers so you don't stain the tables :)

1. Accuracy: Is the piece accurate according to the resource? Does it look realistic? What could they change to achieve better results?
2. Texture: Is there appropriate texture? Should there be more? Less? 
3. Craftsmanship: Is the artwork neat and created with care, or it is apparent that the artist rushed? Does it need to be cleaned up? Give a suggestion for where/how they can "clean up" their work. 
4. Technical Soundness: Is the piece technically sound? Is it too thick; too thin, etc? Are there crumbs that will become sharp later? Is there trapped air?
