I will go over the rules, I will let it be known that every day when they walk into class, the first thing assignment is repeating the rules together. I will probably repeat them 3 times since it's the first day so they know what to repeat. I will ask if anyone has questions if so I will happily answer all that I can. After I will have out a sheet that asks how to explain each rule in their own rules to make sure they get a better understanding. I plan on having the students act them out but I will most likely save that for the second day just to make sure when reading the worksheet that each student understands each rule and if not then I will go over it some more the next day.

After going over the rules, I will assign students jobs. I will have a little cup with a popsicle stick with all the students' names on them. I will pick out a Line leader, a caboose, teacher helper, paper passer, paper collector, supply passer( which I will assign but not have them pass anything out just for safety reasons.), door holder, attendance taker, and desk inceptor. I will have a desk inceptor because at the end of the day each student will clean up their desk before they go. I will also be going over the safety rules afterwards.

I will start with the ice breaker; the ice breaker is a simple Get To Know Me worksheet. The student will answer some simple questions about themselves on this assignment. The question on the paper will be what their favorite color is, where are they from, and etc. After everyone is done I will ask one group at a time to get up and put tape on their paper and hang it outside.

I will also go over the first group assignment and start grading those.

I will give the students another assignment in which I will teach them how to do multiplications. We will be using Kahoot on the school laptops each group table will get one laptop. I will assign a position for the group, one will be the one to answer the questions with the laptop. Students who have exceptional behavior needs

1. get evaluated, it would be best if the parent gets an evaluation from a licensed person to make sure the student is diagnosed right. You can not just believe the parent when they say "oh yeah she has ADHD" without a referral from any licensed person. It needs to be from an expert so there are no incorrect claims.

2. Get advice from school psychologists, parents, and teachers who have experiences with students who have exceptional behavior. I will definitely make sure that I will keep in contact with counselors is writing notes about the students that I have noticed some problems with but I will make a time where I am free and knowing they are free and give them the paper that I wrote all my notes in to make sure they see what is going on.

3. Figure out what the students needs. I will have to figure out if a student needs more time with assignments. Or they have a hard time concentrating so they need to be taken outside of the classroom. Or if a student overall needs to be taught one on one away from the classroom.
4. Make a plan but don't do it alone, most definitely ask for advice from others. I believe it's key to make sure that I get advice from everyone that has dealt with students with exceptional behavior needs. I was a student with those needs I can see the signs but I don't know how to help every student out with different behavioral needs.
5. have regular communication with the student and student parent. I believe communication will help the process of a student with exceptional behavior needs. It's important to get any new information from the parents about the student themselves. It's also important to let the parent know the progress the students are having in the class or some issues I have noticed with them.

1. Communicate with a counselor, make sure they are getting all the information they need for this student.
2. Always be there for the student. As a teacher, you need to gain their trust so they can let you know their situation.
3. Make an "out" plan. this is a plan where if the student is feeling triggered in any sort of way, we as teachers have a plan to give them an "escape" place; this is where they can calm down in a room away from the triggered.

Plan for preventing bullying in the classroom and school

I believe a good plan is making sure the students acknowledge that bullying is bad and that needs to be reported. Give examples in the classroom of what bullying is and have students act them out and ask the students what they should do as a bystander, the bully, and the person who is being bullied. I believe this would be a great interaction with the class.

If there was a situation inside my classroom where i see a student is being bullied I think I would separate the pair. I would not make a scene in the classroom so I would give the student independent work. once everyone is working on the assignment. I would quietly pull the "bully" out of the classroom and talk to them outside the classroom. I would let them know that what they were doing was really bad. I make sure that they are not in trouble at the moment but I would stand my ground and tell them if it happens again they will be in trouble. And I would do all of this in a not a aggressive manner or strict manner. I would talk to them like its a regular conversation.

Remind and Classting

Two ways of communication that I will be using for my classroom so I can talk to the parent is remind and classting . Remind is really what the tile is. It is like a texting app where teachers can send reminders to all of their students about homework assignments and grades being updated. But you can also be connected with the parents and text them through there about their kids. Classting is a platform where teachers can share files, photos, and videos that students and parents can see.

The room arrangement, in my room I will have windows and in one of the corners, I will have a class library. it will have a nice fuzzy rug with a bunch of bean bag chairs. On that same side in the other corner, I will have the cubbies where the student will be putting their stuff at. now on the right side, is where the classroom entrance will be at. I will have class storage. in the middle of the room, I will have my desk in front of the classroom with all the tables facing towards the board.

I will be specifically be using Remind to remind students when class assignments are coming up which means I will be also be letting the parents know they have an assignment due the next day because I will be teaching kids. For the student to be able to store the things they will need for the classroom there will be a folder underneath their desk with their pencil box with the supplies and material they need for the day. I am going to have group tables and there will be a little box and dividers that have extra materials like pencils, glue, scissors, and etc. In the dividers will be extra paper and their assignment with their names already on them. For students who need items that they can not access they will have to ask me what they need and I will go get the item, they are looking for. To ensure safety I will not leave scissors on the table unless I know they will need them for the assignment. I will try to make it very clear that safety is #1.

Classroom Library

The guidelines that students will have to do to check out a book ask me. These books will probably be books that I bought with my own money. But if a student really wants to take it home I will have a little piece of paper that states they have a book and they have two weeks to return it like a regular library. All students are able to access the library but I will have a groups section. I will have one group on computers and the other in the library. So not everyone will be in the class library. I think I will create a mail center where each of my students has names in each little slot and if they are reading a certain book and want to read it the next day they can leave it in their slot.

How I will be introducing these rules, I will want to start off the day right before we start the day we will all read aloud the rules together just as a reminder. This way the students know that the rules are very important and should not be forgotten. I definitely will be modeling the rules using examples from the students in the classroom. I think for me checking if the students understand is on the first day I will create a little test asking them to explain what each rule means.
