  • My first priority within the Student Council would be to implement a strategy which allows us to work together with other councils to a greater extent. I believe, with our collective inputs, the Student Council along with perhaps the Technology, Sports or (newly initiated) Service Council would be able to not only increase overall productivity and efficiency in terms of day to day activities, but also be able to introduce events at a much greater scale. 


    • The Student Council will focus on hosting/organising events which are able to contribute to the overall community. Our school is a place with access to relatively advanced infrastructure. The idea is to organise events aimed towards helping a certain cause, with the help of other councils (ServiceCo, TechCo, SpoCo). By doing so, we would maximise the use of this school’s infrastructure, thereby allowing for grander events. Some of these service oriented events could be turned into CAS experiences of SAA projects as well, thereby making MYP and DP life slightly easier.


    • Furthermore, the Student Council should expand upon Malang, making it a slightly longer event than usual (perhaps spanning over the course of 2 days instead of 1). In this case, the StuCo would work with Spoco in order to combine the Sports Day along with Malang hence allowing for a more exciting end to the school year. However this is just a basic idea which can be worked upon or even scrapped; it's just a reference for my vision as the HS student council president.
