Since its founding in 1990, Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) has been a trailblazer in the private education sector in Jordan, offering academic services to students. In addition to being a member of the Association of Arab Private Institutions of Higher Education, Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World, Union of Arab Universities, and International Association of Universities, AAU has received accreditation for both its programs and its institutional structure. By implementing a variety of techniques and strategies that rely on a system of quality control and efficient follow-up by all faculties, departments, centers, and administrative divisions, AAU aims to stand out by improving learning outcomes.

The goal of AAU is to become the preeminent university in the Arab world and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
