1. Time Commitment:  Instructors will lead classes twice a week in bi-monthly site rotations.  There may be some flexibility in the weekday schedule, Monday-Thursday, as some programs may have an earlier activity start time or a later start time.  Each artist/group will offer instruction two (2) days per week for approximately two (2) months at an assigned site.  This adds up to 16 classes total with the exception of the last rotation (May/June), which typically has fewer class meetings because of the school calendar year.  Instructional time is from 4:00-5:00pm.  In addition to teaching time, instructors are compensated for an additional one (1) hour per class to account for prep/breakdown, as well as one (1) hour per week to cover curriculum/lesson planning time and/or any office visit time with the program coordinator.  Total time each week = 5 hours.

We are an international developmental drama school that offers a variety of classes for kids ages 4-18. Aurelia, currently attends school downtown and will be there for camp over the summer. She is very smart, silly, funny, and will totally hide her vegetables under her plate if allowed to get away with it. All-in-all she is a really easy kid. She loves to craft, is very serious about her school work, loves audio books, and sitting by the pond in our yard.

The pay is negotiable between $18-$22/hour.

Primary responsibilities of the position include afternoon pickup from school, travel from school downtown to home on Johns Island, homework check, dinner (which will be pre-made), and bathing (which she does independently). 

The pickup times will vary between summer camp and school. I’m not sure what time camp ends yet, but during the school year, she gets picked-up between 4 and 4:30. The days of the week will vary as needed during the summer and into the school year. While slower in the summer (1-2 nights/week) weeknight babysitting needs during the school year pickup to about 2-4 nights each week. 

Additionally there is a regular need for support from 4 PM until later in the evening (9/10/11) on the second and fourth Monday of each month when CCSD has board meetings.

If the applicant were to be interested there are a few weeks this summer, that camp isn’t in session, and we will be grateful for full-time care if possible and if schedules permit. (June 10-14, July 29-Aug 2, Aug 5-9, Aug 12 - 16)

A little about Three Rivers Respite, we are a camp focused on providing respite care for children in foster care or recently adopted.  We are the only respite camp in South Carolina.  We typically have about 10 kids per camp session.  

Three Rivers Respite is a seven-acre camp located near Charleston, S.C., that serves as a safe place for children in foster care to bond with other kids on a similar journey.

My husband travels for work several times throughout the year, and during those travel periods, we’d love an extra set of hands. This is not an every-day commitment while he’s away—it’s typically 2–3 afternoons/evenings per week (typically 2 days and approximately 2:30/3:00–7:00 p.m.) during travel periods, plus consistent date nights, when feasible, and other as-needed coverage throughout the year.

Because our greatest need is during the after-school hours, applicants should have class schedules that allow them to be available during those times. One of our programs is TASC, our Teen After School Center, which provides teens and young adults with a safe and supportive environment where they can receive academic assistance, build life, and career skills, participate in enrichment activities, and connect with positive adults in the community.

For the safety of the youth we serve, volunteers working directly with our participants would need to be 21 years of age or older.

Tutors could assist students with homework at the high school level, help explain difficult concepts, work on study and organization skills, prepare for tests, or simply provide encouragement and academic mentorship. Job Summary

Sprout is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic learning coach to join our elite team in supporting students with diverse learning needs in a clinical setting. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who only wants part-time hours, an education student, or a special education student. This candidate, if not a certified teacher, will work under the consult of a certified teacher to deliver one-on-one online curriculum to children on the autism spectrum who present with behavioral barriers to learning in their public school classrooms. Sprout's objective is to mitigate those barriers. A learning coach's job would be to deliver prescribed curriculum within the ABA setting, concurrently allowing the ABA team to treat the maladaptive behaviors.

If desired, the learning coach will have the opportunity to work with parents to become Medicaid certified for after school transportation hours, transporting clients from their schools to clinic. This would NOT be a contracted Sprout responsibility; rather it would be a position worked out directly with parents.

Responsibilities

• Help each student to work through public or private online learning curricula, modified for their needs by a certified teacher

• Complete documentation of learning hours and progress in accordance with state law

• Expected to take 2-3 hours / day. Slightly flexible in schedule, but looking for mid-morning instruction (10:30 - 1:30ish)

About CTD Soccer Academy

CTD Soccer Academy is a full-time student-athlete development program based in Charleston, South Carolina. Our unique model combines accredited online education, elite-level soccer training, and personal development within one structured daily environment.

We currently work with a small cohort of 16 middle-school student-athletes, allowing us to provide a highly individualized approach to both their academic and athletic development.
