         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is important because, we need boats to ship things and or fishing to keep our fishing for lobester,salmon ,and stuff.but as World War One ended the shipbuilding came to a slow stop, but still going but slowing down.bath iron work is the biggest ship yard in Maine creating battles ships,destroyers,and so on.there’s only about 200 firms here in maine!the yatchs are mainly sold to European and Asian markets.in the 19th and 18th centuries maine produce Woden ships to ship goods,and people over the seas!</div>]]></description>

It was a big exporter of shrimp too but in 2021 there was a decrease in the northern shrimp population. Seaweed industries make around 20 million dollars per year in Maine. Maines lobster fishing is also the most in the country and Maine supplies around 14% of clam populations too</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Agriculture is a big help to our state. This state is excellent at farming and we have over 8,200 farms around this land. The farms help a bunch by giving 800 million dollars a year. Maines agricultural growth has helped with making breakfast foods like blueberries, dairy products, potatoes, poultry and eggs. Maine produces the most blueberries and is at second largest with maple syrup in the United States. Maine also has a big production with livestock. Which it accounts to 60% of the pay. Milk and eggs are the most used livestock.</div>]]></description>
