1. Briefing on food preparation. 
  • The group had decided upon the activity of making sandwiches and agar-agar for the children in the orphanage. 
2. Tasks were distributed among the group members.

3. Food ingredients are chosen and some members went to check the prices of ingredients at the nearby supermarket. 
  • Some of the listed ingredients include bread, egg, lettuce, agar powder, fruits

4. A budget list will be constructed and shown to the lecturer in the following week.

1. Briefing on food purchasing and materials needed. 
  • Our group had decided to purchase all the food needed for Rumah KIDS a day before the visit. The  food will be prepared on the night before the visit.
  • Stephanie, Xin Yun and Hui Ting will bring the jelly moulds, sandwich cutter and food containers from home. 
  • Action by : Stephanie Law 
2. Pre-making of food before the actual preparation
  • Purpose of it is to try out the result of the food to prevent unwanted waste of food materials due to mistakes or too many leftover food. 
  • This activity will be carry out at Hui Ting's house at 24th Jan 2017, estimated budget is around RM15.
  • Action by: Hui Ting 
3. Venue for food preparation 
  • The group has decided to use the food processing lab or culinary suite at Taylor's University to prepare the food.
  • Booking of the lab in advance is required to ensure availability of venue. These venue are chosen as they can provide us large pot and other cooking utensils and equipment needed in order to save time and resources.

    iii. What do you think about the activities we have prepared?
3. Email will be sent to Dr Yeo regarding venue booking for preparation of food.

  • The group have claimed that this activity was a success with the making of the egg sandwich, tuna sandwich and fruits agar-agar.
  • Total cost used in this pre-making of food is RM 38.30
2. Purchasing of food ingredients.
  • This activity will be carried out one day before the actual event which is on the 17th February 2017.
3. Discussion on video-making.
  • The group has decided to document the purchasing of food ingredient and the process of food making on the actual preparation date.

  • Group members  will be gather in front of the roundabout of Taylor's University at 11am and depart once every member had turned up.

2. Discussion on video-making.
  • The group has decided to document the purchasing of food ingredient and agar-agar making process on 17th Feb 2017 .
  • Sandwiches will be prepared on the actual date of our visit, 18th Feb 2017 to ensure freshness and food safety of the food. 
  • The group members had discussed on the story line of the video and shooting method.
  • Members also discussed on the video editing and arrangement.

4. Discussion on beverage making.
  • Members had decided to prepare a healthy beverage such as orange juice if we have extra nudget after purchasing all the ingredients needed.
5. Expenses summarization.
  • Keep and arrange all the resit by pasting them on a piece of A4 paper.
