The back bone in Pinnipeds extends along their back to support their body structure and help them move around stably. Their flippers actually allow them to move around. Some flippers are built better for land, and others for sea.</div>]]></description>

It has smaller flippers built to be more agile in water.<br><br>The Galápagos Sea Lion is part of the "Eared Seal" family. It has flippers it can turn so it can move around faster on land.<br><br>The Walrus has it's own separate family of alive Pinnipeds. It is on land a lot and has tusks.</div>]]></description>
