         <description><![CDATA[<div>Importing of slaves caused ethnic groups to have to live side by side with one another, these groups living so closely caused tension to escalate at the times of the French Revolution. Blanc's was the French commander and he enjoyed being loyal to France, but preferred freedom to be for all for the sake of the crop exportations.  After the Declaration of rights of men was made and brought of citizenship the slaves were more drove to fight for independence. Using his skilled battle tactics and his army of freedom searching slaves, they were able to gain their independence and free themselves from slavary.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the Napoleonic Wars the British assisted the Portuguese royal family to escape. The king did not return after the wars end because he felt his presence stopped independence movements. Brazil is then raised to an equal partner and is expanded by invading Uruguay. A rebel of the people caused an assembly to form, this assembly asked for King John to return to Portugal. As he did this his son took role of Prince of Brazil, this broke Brazil back up. The Prince then receives news about people wanting to remove his power so he leaves Brazil and led them to gaining independence.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The former slave who lead multiple revolts and accompanied slaves to freedom before his country was free was Toussaint L'Ouverture. He was an outstanding leader and lead many people through difficult battle. Toussaint was widely renowned and focused hard on having his people, most blacks, learn about the Europeans. His infamous way of fighting and winning battle is guerilla warfare, fighting to help end slavery and free the people of Haiti. </div>]]></description>
