We are about 140 students aged 15-18 and 20 teachers. It is located in a rural area in the suburbs of Patras (Vrachneika) in the west of Greece. ICV has more than 25 year history. The Secondary school has changed in past years when several schools were integrated into one.
ICV specialises in languages and thus their students are usually very good in English. SOS and SOU prepares studenst for vocational professions, including apperentices as bricklayers, roofers, mechanics, beauticians. Language skills of many of the students re quite limited.
Kutna Hora is a historical city which is on the UNESCO list,

The aim of the most of our students is to go to the University, although one minority of them choose a vocational proffesion.

The fourth specialisation is the “liceo artistico”, (art high school).

At Obici secondary school we consider learning not as a means to acquire mere notions, but as a way to develop critical thinking skills that will enable our students to open their minds to different ideas and cultures by means of extensive and enriching comparisons.
