This declared that the United States of America was finally its own country and independent from Britain! We all here in New York are more than proud and thankful to our brave army and General George Washington for risking their lives for our country. As said in the Treaty, our country boundaries are the Mississippi River to the west, Spanish Florida to the south, and Canada to the north. The British also have to release all enslaved Americans and Congress has recommended that us patriots return all loyalist land (which I don't believe will be happening). The world has came to its senses! We can now live in peace and harmony without worrying about the constant flow of unfair laws and taxes. We can now be independent and our own country! But we will have to work hard to ensure the positive future for the United States of America. Us citizens need to make sure we are represented fairly in our new government and that we do our part to benefit our society as a whole. We must work together in order to create fair laws and impose fair taxes. And how they think they can survive without the help and support from our mother country. But I am mostly enraged at the fact that we won't be getting any of our precious and hard earned land back!
