In lesson planning assessment task, I made 3 lesson plans on year 8 business and economics, which includes a sequence of topics as per the Australian curriculum and at present level, I had a good understanding of designing lesson plan as per the curriculum as demonstrated in my grades.

Although my lesson plan was based on direct instruction, but i included a range of teaching strategies in my lesson plans which were group discussion, previewing, metacognitive strategies in the form of making business plan and think- pair-share activity.

in lesson plan assignment, I have focused on improving my teaching by self-evaluation technique and taking feedback from students after the lecture. I have given last 5 minutes of my all lectures for taking feedback from students and after that reflecting on my own teaching.

Think-Pair -Share activity and group discussions and interactions were included for students’ independent and collaborative learning as these activities helped them to listen attentively, participate and work effectively in their groups.
