- Typist Clerk immediately ran outside to aide student
- Teachers on recess duty helped clear the area
- Mrs. Perez left with child on ambulance
- 1:1 aide of absent student helped out in office
- 3rd grade teacher used her recess break to complete PBIS Reward
- 4th grade team offered to pick up Mrs. Perez from hospital during   their lunch break (Mrs. Mancera showed up to pick up Mrs. Perez)

It was amazing & refreshing to have our BMS staff go out of their way to support our students in a crisis situation!

Only a few minutes after dismissal and minutes before our staff meeting was set to begin our custodian entered the office to make a copy. As he was handing it to Magdalena, clerk, he began to feel faint and said that he did not feel good. I noticed that he was about to have a stroke! Our office staff went into action and got him a chair, called 911, we contacted his family and the paramedics were on site working on him within 6 Minutes! Our staff meeting started on time thanks to a few key players on staff, Henry was in good hands with the paramedics and then came the calm after the storm- We all hugged and we cried. Always a trial to get basketball coaches, and this year a disgruntled parent quit midstream. I was out of town dealing with a critically ill mother and begged another coach/mom to help.
