His albums were regarded as living, breathing testimonies that fed the souls and hearts of millions. A song from his eponymous release, Songs In The Key of Life  can be heard below.

From Michael Jackson, Prince and Paul McCartney, to up and coming artists like the artist featured below, musicians and artists of words/prose credit him with inspiring them to be the best they can as well as reach for the heights of their musical ability.  His songs tend to reach across space and time, defying the charts and appealing to multiple generations.
