I started imparting tuitions for Maths and Economics to high school students as these subjects were my strength and since then I have been in love with teaching as it gives me immense satisfaction.

I truly believe in what A.P.J. Abdul Kalam said, "Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me. "

A Community of Practice (CoP) is " a process of social learning that occurs when people who have a common interest in a subject or area collaborate over an extended period of time, sharing ideas and strategies, determine solutions, and build innovations." (Wenger 1998).

I initially followed textbook methods and explained concepts of Micro and Macro economics to students which was more like a story telling method and explained with the help of illustrations, diagrams and charts through smart boards.

In face to face class teaching we also had the viva's ( verbal Test ) and MCQ tests to achieve learning outcomes.

Later, the flipped learning method was introduced in my Institute and tracking student engagement and student's  progress was done regularly after 3 lectures through  games like Millionaire where we gave 4 options to same questions.

Games made my teaching interesting, I have played group activities, Millionaire, Quizzes to make my teaching effective and engaging.

Findings revealed a mix of preferences and experiences using Zoom technology as a substitution for face-to-face learning with positive aspects (e.g., convenience, development of technology skills, and interactive features) and negative aspects (e.g., social connectedness, anxiety, and technology issues)

Initially I struggled to understand Zoom and its features but teaching economics through zoom turned out to be splendid.
Topics like Perfect competition , Utility, Demand supply analysis were creative to teach on zoom as I used the screen sharing option, annotation and the reactions options to explain concepts and incorporated the TPACK model

TPACK is a dynamic framework for defining teachers' knowledge. This framework is needed for designing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum and instruction with technology. TPACK framework was firstly developed by Shulman (1986) and then expanded by Mishra & Koehler (2006) by adding the technology element.

Where pandemic posed a challenge, but it also opened doors for innovation in teaching methodologies. I truly believe it's one of the greatest evolutions in education sector. We experimented with different learning platforms and different teaching methods, learned new platforms like Paddlet, Canva etc. all for the betterment of learning world.
Students have started accessing different resources though online. They are getting more confident, and teachers are getting smarter - It's a new face of learning which is opening horizons and making a mark. Digital technologies are now the essence of learning and teaching benefiting both the teachers and the learners.
