To a great extent globalization affects quality of life and human rights.

Even though competition from low-wage countries has some negative effects on employment in Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development countries, the link between globalization and job losses is less obvious than it first appears. In times of economic shock such as the recent recession, globalization seems to create more jobs overall than it destroys. Likewise, the total increase in wage inequality of the past two decades seems more linked to technology and legislation than globalization – which does nevertheless undeniably contribute to increased job insecurity in some cases. The challenge is to help the losers of globalization stay in the race and seize the new opportunities offered by openness to international trade.

The Human Development Index is a human right if you want to know your future information and whether or now its significant to you. This resource tells us which places have low population from the type of diseases, conflict such as war and availability of clean food and water.

Places like Uganda have very poor living conditions and no real food to eat but the hings they find and make from scratch. Children don't get the proper education and experiences that most people receive.

Disparity is apart in the economic and social gaps among individuals.There are different attitudes toward this concept on the aspects of quality of life. For example the way i live is much different than other teenagers.. Some don't even get clean water to drink or air to breathe in each day of their lives. Democracy is based on the rights, freedoms, and responsibilities that citizens are guaranteed. Some believe that democracy is a human right and it is an important factor in determining quality of life.

The Annual A.T. Kearney/Foreign Policy Globalization Index has a variety statistics, including technological , economic, and political data, when determining how globalized a country is. The level of globalization is compared with the Freedom House rankings of Freedom in the world. It is also compared with the level of government corruption that Freedom House determines by evaluating whether the government is "accountable to the electorate[people who vote] between elections" and whether the government "operates the openness and transparency [their actions are not hidden from the public]".

Well people in our society people have very powerful connections because of wealth. Now this wealth is coming from major company's that these people own or are part of. Globalization does empower people but not the average person people who are lower and close to middle class right now would not benefit that much. The way our society is running is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The amount of debt that people collect due to loss of jobs because these company's don't want to pay minimum wage and want free and low costing labor. The reason this happens because these company's want cheap product going out and being made for cheap and be sold for abnormal amounts of money. Due to outsourcing their product people can't keep their family's afloat from debt and end up losing everything while the rich get richer. Many people have come to value and desire democracy because it increase the control people have over their own lives. Democracy is based on the rights, freedoms, and responsibilities that citizens are guaranteed. Some believe that democracy is a human right and it is an important factor in determining quality of life.

The aspects of globalization have broadened the ideological perspectives on “community” and affected the quality of life of citizens worldwide. Communication technologies and the speed of transportation allow people to connect with others from all over the world, and have created a global neighborhood composed of people who identify with others, whether in person or electronically, through shared views and interests. Virtual communities have become nearly as influential as traditional communities in shaping people’s identity, though critics express the concern that virtual communities weaken some people’s capability to share in real-world interactions. International travel, agriculture trade and other forces of globalization can facilitate the spread of infectious diseases to create a worldwide epidemic known as pandemic. They affect individuals and communities from the way they are spreading and how hard it is to get rid of. Many foreign countries aren't protected and its a huge problem. Some believe that bird flu is an example of this type of disease and species are endangered.

Migration plays an important role in globalization from the way communities grow bigger and the economic growth. It can increase population growth by spreading people over a wider area where they can use the resources they need. The effects on immigration and globalization are powerful and present. Many people have migrated from their own homes in order to get the proper living resources they need such as clean water and air.

Well as a society globalization is a big part no matter what we think, and to keep it as steady as possible. We should set goals towards putting jobs and money towards the lower class or getting them the education they need to succeed in life. It brings up on how if you give someone money they can do stuff with that for limited time but if you teach them the proper education to get a job they could live a happy life and have a family. Now this isn't that hard we just need funding towards these things. We also need to limit outsourcing in some countries so that people can get some jobs, this would be hard because some company's are very selfish. If we got more people with an education more jobs would be available to them. The upper class people are fine where they are at in life because they are making a living where they can provide for their family's and stay afloat with their debts. Globalization is a growing thing and its gonna keep growing, people need to get stuff under control and work it out or we wont succeed as a successful world. The world has to have jobs and money flowing for people to live.

There are the civic responsibilities such as democracy through peaceful evolution which helps liberal democracy by building social support, by acting within the laws of their existing political system. All views can be heard which makes everyone come closer and they all can either support or oppose. Also the opposing of democracy is a huge thing that each citizen should be able to do as an commitment. Investing in developing countries creates jobs and raises the standard of living. It is a transnationals corporation's civic responsibility to ensure that workers are paid decent wages and work in safe environments.
