There are interesting projects in other countries that bring books to children. In Singapore, there is a Casual Poet Library, where people share not only books but also a part of themselves in a space they help create.

Do you like this kind of library in Singapore? Why / Why not? Beside books, what else would you like to see in our school library and our community library? Why?

I like the idea of this library but I have not been there before.

I would like to see poetry books or quotes, it would be very interesting for me to read them.

I do like the library in Singapore it quiet peaceful and it has very nice place to read the book I go to the Bedok heartbeat near Bedok Mall and I go up to read some book that are very interesting

I like to go to the library as I like to read books. I like to go to the library as it is a good way to relive stress. I go to the library about every month with my friends in Bedok Heartbeat. I love the books over there. In my opinion, the school's library is very nice and comfortable to have lessons in.

I like this kind of library because it allows people to share parts of themselves to others by sharing their books with others to read.

Besides books , I like to see more story telling sessions in the library because most of the books in the library are a little hard for younger readers to understand, so having a story telling session helps the younger readers to understand the stories.

I like to read, Every 3 or 2 weeks, my father brings me and my siblings to the Bedok

library to borrow and return books. So I would want to try something new. During the exam period, my father would bring us so we have better language and vocabulary for the English exams.

I have never been to the Casual Poet Library before nor have I ever heard of it. It sounds interesting as I will get to read more kinds of books about poetry. I enjoy going to libraries as I like reading. A library provides me a quiet and comfortable atmosphere to read my favourite books. I also like checking out the books that are in the library to see if any of them are interesting and ones that I can borrow.

I haven’t went to Casual Poet Library nor i have heard it before. The name of the library is very unique and i would like to go there when it is the December holidays. Besides books, libraries should add more story telling for kids who can’t read and the story teller should do actions while reading the book to the children because it will be fun and entertaining to the kids.

Yes I would like to go to this type of library although I have never been there before.It would feel nice and cosy although there is not such a big space.In our school library I would like to have more space and more books, in our community library I would like it to be more cozier and have relaxing music in the backround. It would feel nice to listen to music and read a book at the same time.

Yes because it is very convenient and environment friendly.i would like to see a reading area with pillows and when you you can get a ticket, and if you get enough tickets, you can exchange them for a price to make sure that you read the book, you will have to write a collection after reading the book

I have never been to the "Casual Poet Library" before nor have I ever heard of it. It sounds interesting as I would like to go to this type of library although I have never been there but I enjoy going to normal libraries as I like reading. A library provides me a quiet and comfortable place to read my favourite books. I like to go to the library as it is a good way to relive stress but instead of going to the library we can just turn on the A.C, borrow books from the library and read a book in the A.C room on our bed....but I like to read when we go for a quiet picnic or when I stay in the park....but mostly I like to read with the nature then reading at home. It just gives me the vibes that I like. It's like you are in the most quietest place in the world where nobody can disturb me. but when I am at home my father or mother keeps calling me every 10 seconds telling me to do this and that and sometimes it can really annoying.....so.......byee!!!!

I like this type of library because you can find a person that has the types of books in their shelf and you can just take them out,borrow them and put it back.I would like to see a prize system for example if you read 25 books in a month you get a prize or every 5 books you read you get a token.

Yes i like this kind of libraries in Singapore that in bukit timah which is in the north of the island. I like it because not only lets us to read books peacefully in a quiet area that is cold but also this specific library enables the communities in the north side of Singapore to also get a chance to read books. I would like to see more interesting things , plays done by outsiders and more variety of choices because i always read the same books on and on whenever i go to library during English lessons.

I like this kind of library as it lets individuals from Bukit Timah to read peacefully without distractions in a comfortable environment. Besides books, I think that our community library would be a lot better with a more comfortable environment as from what I have observed, most students tend to read more attentively when their surroundings are comfortable. Other than that, our community library is good.

I do like this kind of library because it would let me tell people what I kind of books I like and they could also tell me what they like without meeting! Besides books I would like to see stationary in community libraries and I also want our school library to have less people tearing pages because I want people to have a good time at the library.

yes, I like this type of library. (Casual Poet Library) It is a library where we can share a part of ourselves. It will be very convenient to find books that are fitting for yourself. In my public library, I would like to see many different books so that I can get to read a variety. It would also be nice to have a storytelling session regularly with an expressive reader. This will encourage people to read more books and make it more interesting.

Yes, I do like this kind of library in Singapore as you can share books with other people and also get to know them better. I also like this kind of library as you can read peacefully and comfortably without others disturbing you. Besides books in libraries, I think that it would be a good idea to have some lush greenery in the library and also maybe a small pond. With that said, I also hope there will be a cat library in the future so I can read to cats and cuddle with them too!

I had no idea that a library like that exists. I enjoy reading story books so i would enjoy going there. Now knowing that it is here , i will try to visit it someday and give a book of my own. Maybe I will enjoy … I will enjoy we can never know unless we give it a shot

I love reading books as they make me have a very vivid imagination. Books are important for our vocabulary. In the library, one can read books conveniently and for that we should be very grateful and thankful. To improve the library, we can add book mentors or vocabulary experts so that if anyone needs help understanding the book, they can help them.

Yes i do like this kind of library in Singapore. It is because it is a calm environment although for me it is easier to read when the environment is loud. I would like to see if we can add aircon in the library at school so more people would come to read. In the community library i would like to see more comic books available especially in Bedok Library. It is because it is hot nowadays and comic books are better than any other books.

Library’s in singapore has some of the best books that brings children into reading books and one of the best library I have been to is the Bedok Heartbeat Library.I enjoy reading books there as it is fun to read in libraries.Other than reading books the nice and comfey sofas are good to sit on
