Timmy was a Russian Immigrant and his real name was JACOB GOLOS. He worked for the NKVD and used an opportunity to recruit Bentley in the Soviet organization. After Golos got caught, Bentley took over their mission and eventually went to the FBI. In the march of Missouri, Winston Churchill gave his "Iron Curtain" speech about which countries are communists and which countries are non communists. In the summer of 1946 Truman instituted new Loyalty of the Federal Government Program. In the fall of 1947, the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) was announced.

Robert Lampshire was a spy hunter who made his way to the Soviet Espionage Division. He asked to see some secret messages and they changed his life. the USSR used one-time code to encrypt messages, but eventually, the soviets started reusing codes. Eventually, the USA cracked the codes because of this laziness. Meredith Gardner was a very intelligent person who had learned Japanese in just 3 months. He had a keenly logical mind and kept wide arrangements of facts and storage of unrelated things in his mind. Gardner used a codebook to put together a vague map of soviet leaders and spies. Bob saw the report and was amazed at how much he had priced together with that one book. They started the top-secret project VENONA Together. In June 1948, Stalin cut off all infrastructure to west berlin. May 1949 USSR suspended the blockade. By September 2 1949 Russia had access to nuclear weapons, which surprised people because Russia was far behind in nuclear technology. People started to suspect that Russia had cheated somehow. VENONA was then no longer solely for exposing spy networks, it then became about stealing the USSR’s advantage in the Nuclear Arms Race.VENONA turned to M15 (British spy agency) for help. Julius Rosenberg who was codenamed “LIBERAL” in VENONA was accused ring leader of Soviet Spies in US and arrested in 1950. He had a trial in 1951 in NYC and executed by electric chair.
