My objective is to keep my current math class standing for both this and the upcoming academic year. My goal is to keep up my outstanding marks from the last two terms, and maybe raise them. I would still try to recite and engage more in class even if I made a mistake in order to learn more and understand the subject topic better.

I can monitor my progress and see if my grades are declining by using a score sheet. If so, I may try focusing more on maintaining and improving my grades to maintain the "S" in my SMART goals.

Reciting more frequently will help me grow and get a better understanding of the material, even if I make mistakes along the way. I can also take notes and finish worksheets to test my skills and get better at them.

These goals enhance my comprehension of the subject matter and help me maintain my academic consistency. This also motivates me to maintain my concentration and grow from my errors so that I can overcome my challenges or errors.

I think it will be a bit difficult to achieve these goals since the topics become more difficult as the school year goes on and I will soon be in ABM where more math is implemented and becomes more challenging. I'll still try my hardest and remain focused despite this. I hope to achieve these goals by the end of the school year and next year.

Conceptual Understanding

During the recent circles test, I encountered trouble due to my difficulty with geometry concepts and the challenge of memorizing numerous formulas and conjectures. I struggle with geometric concepts. A lot of the questions appeared kind of intimidating, especially when it came to applying conjectures and since the test had a big percentage. I felt unprepared and annoyed during the test because i thought I was ready but had a difficult time. I'm determined to use different study techniques and look for more assistance in the future to raise my understanding and performance in geometry by taking down notes and doing the drills and examples given in class.

Until now, I didn't give the in-class activities much thought because I believed that learning the material and preparing for the test could be done just by studying it. Because of this, I had a difficult time answering the math long test on circles. However, after giving more time to participate more, I understood how crucial it is to take part in drills and examples. Through application, I was able to understand the subject topic much better and came to the conclusion that taking part in drills and examples given in slides is far more beneficial than only studying. This insight changed my approach to studying and demonstrated the value of in-class activities in improving comprehension and rising academic accomplishment.

My performance in the long test 2 was my most significant and outstanding performance. I was able to show my deeper understanding of the topic and my efforts in class drills have paid off and I have learned from my past mistakes. Using a combination of consistent study practices, clarifying concepts with questions, and participating fully in class discussions, I was able to demonstrate my deeper understanding. This is my best work because I got a perfect score and this really bumped up my grades and is a big factor in acheiving my SMART goals.
