This is an increase from 11 million reported 10 years prior. In 2014, the number of people who used in the past month was estimated to be 660,000 up from 450,000 in 2004.

Survey, found that past-year MDMA use was reported by 2.7 percent of 12th graders, 1.8 percent of 10th graders, and 1 percent of 8th graders. A downward trend in perceived availability indicates that teens across all grade levels believe that MDMA is harder to obtain than it was a decade ago.
