I am from Tegucigalpa, and I live in Aldea Mateo. When I was a child, I remember staying at La Plaza for a long time every day after school to play with my cousins and friends. This was my favorite thing of the day because there was a lot of fun. We played landa, escondite, and chimiricuarta. It was very entertaining because there were many cars and trees where we hid and were never found. Also, we sat down on the floor to play maules or bingo, and while we played, we talked about how our day was and the things we had done. There weren’t any unknown people, so there was a lot of trust and confidence between us. Later, we went to have dinner at our grandmother’s house. Her burritos were the best and my favorite food in the world. Then, to end the day, we ate churros and chavis while we watched a TV show. All in all, La Plaza is a place that saves many beautiful memories.
