I chose this because learning is more impactful when it's directly relatable to what the student is going to be doing. When the student has 'affiliation' in other words when their learning is customized to what they'll be doing, it's more impactful and they're more engaged in the learning process.

I could implement this by teaching using the 'division-specific-tips' on our learning dashboard: use note templates or providers will be using in real-life, use SmartSets they'll actually be using, etc.

A roadblock, our classes are diverse, and it could be tricky to cover all divisions. I could have each student choose their own division, but I'll want to be thoughtful about which I use that I project on screen.

We know that people learn in various ways, and the best way to reach all learners is to blend various learning models. Within those models, giving learners choice in how they use materials is important as well. Roadblock: RESOURCES ($). Having time/ money to create written curriculum, provide videos and e-learning, transcriptions of lessons, etc.

In reflecting on this, I tend to ask more questions than my students. At first I believed this was due to me answering all of their questions, but I can now see that I have not sparked their curiosity enough. It could also be the way I engage with my students; am I creating an open environment where they feel comfortable enough to ask questions? I think it would be nice to get feedback from other educators on how my communication is perceived, and how my behavior can be improved.

I love creating reviews where the user has to think about what to do next, gets immediate feedback and can try again. So they don't just answer a question that seems disconnected from the content. Be in the content and figure it out.
Roadblocks: It takes time to create a good assessment and you have to have the technology in place to do it.

Implementing more personalized division/role specific exercises could be an opportunity to personalize the material. This can be challenging when you have large groups to personalize in multiple ways to each user.
