Making sure that you stay well nourished and hydrated is vital in ensuring that students are prepared for class. It can be easy to get wrapped up in your studies and forget to eat a meal, which in the long term will have negative effects on your energy levels. Grabbing a snack in between classes can help you focus and give you the energy to be actively engaged.

It's nice to get lost in learning, it feels like being in a different world when you get into your "study-zone". Some of us have a thirst for knowledge, others, a drive to do our best in school. Either way, we can agree studying gives us, in some form, self fulfillment and personal growth.

Breaks are just as important as any other part of learning. We shouldn't continuously cram without taking a step back once in a while. It helps us see and possibly correct aspects of our work we might have been too occupied to notice before. The brain is like a powerful muscle in that it needs a period of rest after exercising in order to develop further.
