Curriculum

I chose this symbol because it represents all the activities that a child does in school, which are presented as subjects of study, they have a structured study plan, with learning objectives and evaluation form, it is intended that there is a correlation between these areas.

The essence of curriculum in the early years

I chose this symbol because it represents a community of learners, each person represents the three components (curriculums) of the definition of the curriculum that the pyp suggests (written, taught and assesment), the arrows indicate that it is not a linear process or finished, people are holding hands representing an inclusive process, where everyone can participate and find permanent support from the entire community.

To me, yellow is bright and vibrant and symbolises happiness, freshness, positivity, energy and optimism. We can apply these words to the early years curriculum as teachers take the written curriculum and 'bring it to life', injecting all these qualities in it when they teach it.
