Manual mode

This means that you control everything on the camera when you want to take the photo as you have control over the shutter speed. However manual mode is harder to work if you are a beginner.

How to turn the DSLR camera on/off

There is a button at the top of the camera which say on/off. To turn it on you have to twist it so that it is pointing towards on, then when you want to turn it of you twist it back to where it says 'off'

Auto mode

the camera chooses the aperture and the shutter speed. Also the camera may not focus on the scene which you want it to properly. This means that the camera will come out the way that it wants it to not how you want it to. The auto mood would be easier if you are a beginner and don't know how to work the manual mood properly.

The camera chooses aperture and shutter speed, however you can adjust the exposure for better results. This means that the camera will however control when the photo will be taken.

This is where you can select the aperture that you want, the camera then decides which shutter speed is best for you. The one thing that you will control is the depth of field that you want in your picture.

You can under expose or over expose which you need to think about when taking the picture you want.

There are 3 types:

- the exposure compensation dial

-overide auto exposure

-micro adjust exposure

This video helped me to find all this out, i found it very useful as it went through all the the modes and steps that i would need to be able to work the DSLR camera. I liked the way the video was really easy to follow and it didn't confuse you. This is because after he explained everything he wrote a list which pointed out everything he just went through. This helped me to keep up with everything he was explaining which is why i would want to design mine the way he did.
