In San Jose, like in any other city of Latin America you will find the places known as "fire places" known because you will find in these zones smugglers, drug dealers and even thieves. But most of these zones are highly reduced to the South and Center sites of the city. In the tourist places, is used to find security, and local people are always disposed to help you. San Jose has a gigantic cultural places disposed for the state to the entertainment, and family joy, including social focused integration centers. The first places of people who migrates to Costa Rica are from Nicaragua (287.000), Colombia (16.500), United States (15.900), Panama (11.250), El Salvador (9.400) and Venezuela (3.800).

Actually the migration in Costa Rica is the biggest of all Latin America because that represents more than a 9% of the population, and also represents the biggest migratory phenomenon of Central America. In San José, foreign people can find multicultural centers, to celebrate with many of the people with outside descendence, important events to enjoy with local people in moments specialized to this.

Concluding, the fact of being in San José means that you will find a lot of spaces made to the joy of the people, local or foreign; with an state that tries to guarantee the quality of life of every person who steps their territory, and trying to improve every day, as a population and as a unity called city, and even, country.
