a) I learned about this topic and what surprised me is that it doesn’t matter if you live in developed countries or developing countries. Also, what surprised me is that this is happening countries that are modest and conservative like Japan, China and Korea and countries that are in the Middle East. For example, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Israel and Egypt. Also, because in those countries they taught and believe by that if you cover up yourself it is the commitment to modesty or piety.

b) A real-life example is how this topic is interesting to me is that it is common for women who are living in large cities have experience being sexually harassed/ verbal by catcalling to women while walking the streets in the large cities like Toronto and New York City. For example, there were videos how women felt and seeing a women perspective on catcalling when walking the streets in cities from large cities by having a men dressing up as a women and seeing the difference when a woman is in regular clothing and when that the same women are wearing conservative clothing and being cover up, and having the Hijab on when walking the streets of large cities and which is most likely to be sexually harassed ( catcalling) when walking the streets in the cities.

c) The research I find the most interesting to me is the Statistics- Prevalence of street harassment.

d) What will I likely to remember from the research is the studies from around the world and their statistics on Sexually Harassment in their own countries and knowing and understanding how many women experiences have been Sexually harassed by the opposite gender.
