You have touched so many lives in your gentle, but strong way. Years ago, several of us Daughters of Charity would trek from various parts of the City to attend your Masses at Sacred Heart Church. Then many years later, I was assigned to Epiphany Center, but live in St. Vincent de Paul Parish, and you made our program for women in recovery and their young children a Charity of the parish, and you came yourself to drop things off. You were a brother to us Daughters and we will always be grateful for you in our lives. I went to your viewing just so I could tell your Mom how wonderful and special you were to us and to support her in her loss of you. Please pray for us, Father.

While words can be superfluous in times of immeasurable loss, we find strength knowing that he loved so genuinely and so fiercely - and - in return was loved so genuinely and so fiercely back. 
 
Father Ken was funny, loving, brilliant and always filled with joy and worship for his church, community, parishioners, school and kids. His beaming smile, booming voice and endless enthusiasm will never be forgotten.  Nor will we ever forget the lengths he went to, to ensure our 8th graders this year had the most spectacular graduation experience despite the pandemic.  

The measure of a life well-lived is not in how long it is, nor how much one accomplishes or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they have touched and the lessons they leave behind.  There is no doubt that he made an indelible impact that will be cherished forever.  
 
May you take comfort in the fact that he was always surrounded by people that loved and treasured him so very much.  We are sending healing prayers and are so deeply sorry for your (and our) loss.  Father Ken was simply the best. xx
