         <description><![CDATA[<div>Genetic Modification is a very beneficial process as explained by @SidOP. However, Genetic Modification has some cons too. First of all, it is very expensive and requires a laboratory setup and a lot of capital. It also is tested for around 90 days only which may be concerning to some individuals, also it may involve experiments on animals which could be perceived as a breach of animal rights. Now, even though the scientific process may require a lot of capital, a GM seed is not that expensive, but it is a bit more expensive than regular crops, resulting in a better harvest, produce and product but lower profits for farmers, but it is not practiced a lot in terms of foods in India, but as mentioned above more so in the case of cotton.
