It will show that students understand what they read and help share the story clearly with everyone. Each finger stands for something. The characters(who are the characters in the story), setting(when and where did the story take place), problem(What goes wrong in the story), event(significant events in the story), and solution(how was the problem solved).

Literacy center activity

These Golide lock props will help bring the story to life. In this center, children are using props to retell a story. These goldie lock printouts will be placed on a popsicle stick to act as if they were puppets. The children will be able to act out the story with these props. Children will be able to do everything from the book. These props will allow students to engage with the story through their senses. These props represent the characters and events that happened in the story, helping students remember the story as they are retelling it.

Build a bear workshop

Children will be able to make their own version of a bear. Children will be given materials such as glue, bluttons, & crayons to freeform their own bear.
