When the Dean said she was taking a man's job while he had her over for dinner sent me mixed feelings. I like her philosphy when she said "I'd rather be a B**** than a mouse" . I think that I would learn it better by reading it, but I like the video way better. I'm not the best reader and I really liked hearing the different actors and actresses read it off. There was music in the background and with their voice being serious for the part that they read, it sounded very patriotic. He was getting failing grades and was not treated right because of his skin color. However, Mr. Hill, a teacher at the junior high, gathered some teachers together and tutored him after school. Eventually he got his grades up and even earned a scholarship that Mr. Hill signed him up for without him knowing. He earned the scholarship and went to college but didn't know how until years later, at his brother's funeral, Mr. Hill told him that he signed him up. This relates to our class today because we are learning about the Constitution.
