[Topic] :

Why are cockroaches so hard to kill?

[Speaker] : Ameya Gondhalekar
[Highlight] : And the cockroach’s toughness doesn’t end there. Cockroaches can eat a variety of organic matter, including hair, dead skin, adhesives, and paper. This is made possible by an expansive set of digestive enzymes. Cockroaches are able to thrive even in nutrient-poor environments. Roaches often eat decaying foods that are low in nitrogen— an essential component of DNA and proteins. But they survive by storing nitrogen-containing wastes in their bodies and having a resident group of bacteria recycle the nitrogen into useful molecules for them.

Government benefit programs have helped you cover your expenses, but you're barely getting by. Finally, you receive a paycheck— but there's a catch. As early as 8000 BCE, Neolithic farmers began a legacy of cheesemaking almost as old as civilization.

【Topic】: Stand with Ukraine
【Speaker】: Garry Kasparov
【Highlight】: Ukraine is on the front line of a war between freedom and tyranny, says chess grandmaster and human rights advocate Garry Kasparov. In this blistering call to action, he traces Vladimir Putin's rise to power and details his own path from chess world champion to pro-democracy activist in Russia. His message is a challenge to global leaders to rise in support of Ukraine -- and to choose life and love over death and hatred. "The price of stopping a dictator always goes up with every delay and every hesitation," he says. "Meeting evil halfway is still a victory for evil."
