My second time experiencing an Active Manipulative/Observant would be the first time I started working out. I had no idea what to do. Watching others workout and following their ways made things much easier. My form was 100% off. By practicing everyday for 2 hours. I only got better. There will always be error when starting something new.

My first time experiencing an Active Manipulative/Observant would be the first time playing soccer. I was 9 when I started playing soccer. I knew nothing about soccer. I would shoot the ball in my backyard with my dad every Sunday. I wasn't the best. I constantly made mistakes. Through practice with my father, I started playing better. Seeing my self getting better was an accomplishment. Shooting the ball at the fence and breaking the wood was hard to take in. That is just my experience with learning how to play soccer for the first time.

My experience on this topic would be setting my goal to pass my Praxis Exam on the first try. I recently took my Praxis I Reading exam and I recently got my score back and I passed on the first try. I set this specefic goal the week prior to the test date. I made sure I studied really hard and made it happen. The passing score needed to be a 156. The score I received was a 156. My goals were accomplished.

Ever since I started my journey in college. The day I stepped into Southwest Tennessee Community College, I set a goal to maintain a 3.6+ GPA. Here I am, 3 years into college at the University of Memphis with a 3.95 GPA. Goal setting is key. Once its planted into my mind. I can accomplish! My intention is still active, and I would love to graduate with anything over a 3.6 GPA!

Collaboration and Conversational plays a big role in my life. I always want seek opinions from others. Whether its family or friends. My experience with this topic is the one time I needed help on my science fair project. I worked with another student in the library and it turned out better than I expected. Sometimes the other person may know more and this will help you get a better idea on what to do. This was my experience with the science fair project as it pertains to Cooperative and Collaborative.

Another experience I have experienced was in a sport. I played soccer in Middle School. I had a hard time dribbling the ball. Always had a problem with keeping the ball at my feet. It wasn't until my team-mate came through and told me we could work on it together and both get better at it. We shared our strengths and worked something out. Fortunately, we accomplished the dribbling skill and continued playing on the same team.

For example, the equations y=mx+b. I was wrong, I am grateful that I learned this in middle school and high school, because it prepared me for college level math courses!

In college, I took a nutrition course, we were learning about the types of nuturtion that can be beneficial to us and whats not. I always got the right answers on the test but the question is, am I using these resources to help me in real life? I was one time eating out with some friends and we had some junk food, I told them I remember learning in nutrition class that this isn't the best food to digest in our body!

During a soccer game in middle school. We lost our first game. The next soccer practice, we reflected on what was wrong and how we could fix our mistakes. We reflected on past experiences and made sure we fixed those errors. We went on and won the next 5 games back to back! Wonderful experience. Reflection plays a big role in success!
