         <description><![CDATA[<div>Built in the year 2011, this is the biggest mosaic museum in the world. The mosaics are from Zeugma, an ancient city in the Gaziantep province. They started being discovered when the authorities started digging for new dam projects in the area. It is believed that extensive looting has happened in Zeugma since the 19th century. A majority of the artwork still remains undiscovered. Highlights include:</div><ul><li>Area of the museum: 90,000 square feet</li><li>Recorded commentaries and written explanations in both Turkish and English</li><li>The shop has a good variety of books</li><li>Life-size models of Camel at the entrance of the museum</li><li>Informative Cinema</li><li>The world famous mosaic of the Gypsy girl</li><li>Kids section</li></ul><div><br>Sitting right in the middle of the city is the mysterious yet intimidating castle of Gaziantep. What was supposed to be just an observation tower in the Roman period eventually became a humongous structure that it is now. Its present form was given to it by a Byzantine emperor in the sixth century. 100 metres in diameter and 1200 metres in width, this castle has 12 towers and bastions. Highlights include:</div><ul><li>Remains of baths, cisterns and mosques</li><li>The halls, the galleries and the corridors</li><li>The view of the river</li><li>Saint Nerses Church and the Barsavma monastery</li><li>A 75m deep well</li><li>Long winding hallways and beautiful statues</li></ul><div><br>RumKale is a fortress on the river Euphrates. It means- Roman Castle. In its past it has been a home to Armenian and Byzentine warlords. It has also housed the supreme head of the Armenian Church. This fortress had been captured by the Egyptians towards the end of the thirteenth century. Surrounded by water, this huge structure is accessible only by boats. Highlights include:<br><br></div><ul><li>The boat ride</li><li>The mosque and its minaret</li><li>The famous Fresh fish meal and olive salad available at the riverside restaurants</li><li>Hidden caves</li></ul>]]></description>
