The prodigal Bengali poet gave national-anthems to two more countries other than India.          <description><![CDATA[<div><em>Nissim Ezekiel (16th Dec 1924 - 09th Jan 2004) was an Indian Jewish poet, playwright, actor, editor, and art critic as well. He has been a very well-known figure in the literary history of postcolonial India, especially for Indian poetry in English. In the very childhood, his innovative mind let him influenced towards the genre of poetry due to which he opted for literature as his career and becomes a worldwide popular poet known as the Father of post-independence Indian verse in English. In 1988, Ezekiel was granted the great honor of Padma Shri the fourth-highest civilian award in the Republic of India, due to his boundless dedication towards the literary world.
