A survey was completed by 82% of NRL club CEOs, chairmen and general managers. One of the questions were asking about the biggest problem in the NRL currently with options such as player agents, relations with clubs, expansion and push from government, transfer system, growth of AFL, concussions and junior participation.

18% of the votes which was the majority voted that concussions are the biggest problem. This links back to the Titans 2030 roadmap as one of the goals is "Future Titans." With the increase of concussions, younger generations are aware of the dangers of playing rugby.

Declining junior male participation in NRL

The NRL has spent tens of millions trying to increase the participation but the numbers are still dropping. Parents are afraid of their children getting hurt which is

declining the rate of male participants, and has an impact on the Titans future goal 2030 roadmap. Securing the future becomes harder as time goes on because contact sports are struggling to continue to find participants.
