On 11th November we commemorate the anniversary of the restoration of Poland's sovereignty in 1918, after 123 years of partition by the Russian Empire, the Kingdom of Prussia and the Habsburg Empire. Poland did not exist on world's maps for 123 years. My pupils took part in a worshop to learn more about this difficult history and the main leader to win independence - Józef Piłsudski.
