When the europeans went through a time of starvation in the winter some of them ran off and joined the Indians so they would be fed. When summer came, they started killing many Indians.</div>]]></description>

This was the settlers excuse to start the Pequot war. This led to mass massacre of many Indians. </div>]]></description>
