Personally, I was once not a fan of anything coated with cheese powder. But after this project, I'd like to share with everyone the wonders of cheese flavoured stuff, so I feel like popia is a good and convenient food to start with.

I started to choose cheese popia because I think it is the easiest food to make. Selling cheese popia makes me think that it is worth earning more money. Apart from that, I think that I chose cheese popia because I like the food that has cheese on it.

The.Popiz's mission is to give joy to the customer whenever they eat our product. As a group of youngsters and students in the same time, our goal is to make sure that each of the students can fill their stomach even when they are bustling with their assignment and especially during their study time. Our product allowed students to feel happy and boost their mood because this popia cheese that we made can avoid them from feeling hungry.

Company and Management:

The.Popiz is a partnership business which based in University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) that is located in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. The business was handled by 6 of us. Our details can be seen in the next section; group information. Gloria Isobelle was the one who is responsible to supply the stocks for this business.

Services:

The customers of The.Popiz need the popia that is full with tasty and delicious cheese. The.Popiz provided the popia which are rich with cheese and have affordable price. This allowed students become most of our customer because our product become high rate among them since we fulfilled their request and needs.

The Market:

University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is the public university in Sarawak and become one of the high ranking university because of the high quality of the service, facilities, education rate and so on. UNIMAS have high number of students which are from local and international places. As the results of our research, most of the students likely spend their time studying while eating snacks. That is why we provide this popia cheese.

Competitive Advantages:

In UNIMAS, there were lots of students, mini shop and kiosk that selling snacks. We love the healthy competition that happened in our business. The uniqueness of our snacks is the popia cheese was homemade by our own group. We prepared and packed it by ourselves because we know that hygiene is the most important when we are preparing foods to others. We sold the popia cheese at RM 5.00 per pack. It is suitable price because the packaging is quite huge and it was sealed safely.

Financial Projections:

Based on the size of the market and our service area, we pretty sure and confident that we can reach the target which is RM 100.00 profit. The profit will be divided equally according to the members of business partners.

Startup Financial Requirements:

To launch and start the business of The.Popiz, the amount of the business capital we needs is as low as RM 30.00 in order to buy all the things that we need to prepared the stocks.

From this business, I learned and gained lots of new knowledge and skills. I am able to communicate well to the customers and promote our product actively. I also can mount up my teamwork skill during the time of doing the business. The task was quite hard but by the strong teamwork spirit and the good cooperation allowed us to complete the task perfectly. A lots of thanks and appreciation to my business partners because of the high integrity in carrying this responsible together. I wish that I can improve and do better in the future.

My Reflection on doing business with all of my business partners is, that I learned a good way to promote the product on any platform such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. I also learn how to make a good kerepek popia cheese just like we do. the sale is not easy and there are a lot more rivals in the university itself but with our teamwork, we can go through this.

Through this project, I've learnt a lot of soft skills that you can't get from textbooks, such as teamwork, good communication skills, and good persuasion skills. It was difficult at the beginning as we all felt awkward with each other, given that we all were practically strangers. We also did not know what to sell, as they were a lot of factors that needs to be considered, much as where to cook, will people buy it or not, or even if it is possible to make it since we all lived on campus. Eventually, we fortunately reached a conclusion to sell the popia after thorough contemplation and discussions. The popia turned out great, and we were all glad as it also did not wott too much to make

What I learned from this course is this course provides education in entrepreneurship, encompassing various aspects from product development to marketing and sales. Beyond financial gains, the venture carries a profound sense of personal fulfillment, derived from sharing a beloved product with others and witnessing its positive impact on customers. I also can gain knowledge on how to edit and design the graphic that related to the advertisement to sell our products. Not only that, I can make new friends also. Through this entrepreneurship course, I learnt that sometimes we face problems in selling products such as not getting enough customers and not satisfied with what customers want.
