"Teaching, more than most professions, requires the practitioner to be keenly aware of who he or she is, what he or she believes, and what he or she values." "Effective teachers know that they don't need to deliver information with greater speed or more efficiently; rather, they need to design learning so that it is compatible with how the brain actually learns."

Failing is Learning!

In the world of learning, failure is like running into a Goomba in Super Mario, it's frustrating, but also a chance to learn. Each time you lose a life, you gain valuable insights about the level, the obstacles, and how to overcome them. Similarly, in learning, each mistake or challenge presents an opportunity for growth and adaptation. The key is not to focus on the failures, but on the learning that comes from them. Neuroplasticity reminds us that the brain is constantly changing and adapting to the new experiences, so instead of getting discouraged by setbacks, embrace them as part of the learning process. Just like Super Mario, dust yourself off, grab a power-up (like a new strategy or approach), and keep leaping towards success!
