Fitzgerald uses this particular song in chapter five at the part when daisy is seeing Gatsby's house for the first time. Gatsby is excited for daisy to be there so this song makes the mood energetic and positive. This song really represent the social differences of the rich and poor. The rick are really are given more freedom to do whatever they want while the poor are restricted to more responsibility.
