The roman empire, like today had many illnesses that it had to deal with. These include the Bubonic plague/the Black death. According to undark.org, The Bubonic plague and black death Broke out many times "between 542 and 747..."
These diseases majorly affected the poor roman people. According to ROMpublichealth, "Rome had a considerable number of doctors to treat people when they were ill. However, this treatment had to be paid for and many Romans could not afford it." this shows that in the Roman empire if you caught the bubonic plague or black death, you were most likely going to be unable to find a cure because of its price.

Global warming has been harming the earth and the living thing around them. According to the website called Nasa.gov, glaciers in Antarctica are melting because factory and cars are creating toxic fumes that harm the earth and the living thing around them like, animal geographic ranges for koalas are changing because of change of temperature which creates wildfires then the wildfires burn trees and the koalas live in those trees.

The united nations created 17 Sustaniable Development Goals. The 3rd goal is good health, for everyone on earth. This goal has not yet been achieved and was not achieved in the roman empire either meaning both the present day and the days of the roman empire have their own health issues. According to undark.org The Romans suffered from the Black death and many other diseases during the majority of their history. And illnesses still exist today, According to health.mo.gov some of these diseases consist of asthma, heart disease, and diabetes. This shows that throughout all of history, people have had to deal with illnesses and that this Sustainable development goal, is a good idea.
