This assignment came at a great time for me. I happen to be in Canmore Canada, so I think being able to see a new neighborhood from a different country. At first, I was walking around and struggling to find any defects but I guess I was able to find a few decent ones that caught my eye. I had never gone to a new place and looked for defects where I was staying and this led me to explore more of Canmore than I think I originally off. I think walking is one of the best ways to explore new places and I'm happy that during this assignment I was able to explore and see Canmore more as a local rather than a tourist.

Narrow streets

While walking around I found that Canmore has a lot of very narrow streets and small footpaths next to the street. i think this is unsafe because in many cases it had busy restaurants or other establishments and people would be walking on the street blocking cars.

Schools

While walking around I didn't see any schools. I was confused because there seemed to be a lot of people and kids walking around but I do realize that the schools might be in a different part of Canmore.

Police/ fire stations

While on my walk I passed a fire station but no police station. I'm not sure why but i was thinking in a small town like this they would be close to each other but I couldn't find the police station. I think the police station might be in another part of town. When I saw the fire station I noticed that it was very small and wasn't sure it would have the ability to respond fast to a fire.
