First day of our translation practice in the Burana. It was very interesting and useful trip, we impressed of everything we saw. One of the most interesting place was Museum causing of its architectural heritage. During this day we understood how we will work in this internship

First we came and then listen some information about history of historical stuff in museumfrom the mentor in Burana. We stayed alone and then walk around the stones nearby to Burana and after we get up to Burana Tower and take some pictures. Finally, tourists started to come to Burana and we started our guiding. it was a little bit hard to explain everything they asked , but we did good job

We visited the museum in the Burana Tower complex. There we saw archaeological objects that were found during excavations of the ancient city of Balasagun. We learned more about the life of people who lived there many centuries ago. The museum also has information about trade routes and the importance of the Silk Road. We practiced explaining these exhibits in English.

Today we climbed to the top of Burana Tower. From the top we could see the wide Chuy valley and the beautiful landscape around the complex. Our mentor explained that the tower was originally higher, but part of it was destroyed by earthquakes many years ago. We talked about the architecture and historical importance of this monument. We also took photos during our visit.

Today some tourists came to visit Burana Tower. We tried to help them and answer their questions in English. We explained that the tower is one of the most famous historical monuments in Kyrgyzstan. It was a little difficult because tourists asked different questions, but it was very good speaking practice for us.

Today we studied historical terminology connected with the Karakhanid state. Our mentor also told us about the famous scholar and poet Yusuf Balasaguni, who was born in Balasagun. He wrote the famous work Kutadgu Bilig, which is an important literary monument of Turkic culture. We discussed how to explain his role in history to foreign visitors.

We helped tourists understand the map of the Burana Tower complex. Some visitors asked about the ruins of the ancient city and the old mausoleums near the tower. We tried to explain everything clearly and simply so they could understand the historical context.

Nooruz

Today we took part in the celebration of Nooruz. It was very interesting and exciting. There were many traditional national games, an exhibition, a concert, delicious national dishes, and seven cauldrons of sumolok. We also saw a beautiful display of traditional felt carpets. The atmosphere was festive and full of joy.✨🇰🇬

Today we visited the Burana Tower and had a conversation with some tourists from Japan. They had arrived in Kyrgyzstan yesterday morning and were traveling to Karakol. On their way, they decided to stop at Burana to explore the historical site. We talked with them for a while, and they were very friendly and interested in learning more about Kyrgyz culture and history, just like many other tourists we have met during our practice.

Today we worked as guides for tourists from Arabia. While we were showing them the open-air museum, they became very interested in this balbal because it had Arabic text written on it. We explained the history and meaning of the inscription, and they listened with great interest.
