Her stepmother is so lazy she asks Zoe to pick her nose for her. The school bully loves flobbing on her head. Worst of all, the dastardly Burt has terrible plans for her pet rat. I can't tell you what those plans are, but there's a clue in the title of this book... 
I would recommend this book to ages 7 and up because it is very interesting and younger children may not like it.

Many years ago Grandpa was a World War II flying ace. But when he is sent to old folk's home Twilight Towers, run by sinister Matron Swine, it's up to Grandpa and Jack to plot a daring escape. Little do they know, the wicked matron is on to them... 
I would recommend this book to ages 6 and up because it is a very good book.
