I managed to create the dish successfully and altered the dish to make it healthier i.e. reducing the sugar amount and fat amount. I also chose a recipe that included manipulative skills such as gelatinisation and pastry dough.  (Keywords : healthy, manipulative

❏ Were you able to manage time?
i was able to finish my dish in time but i was ot able to clean up everything and i think i can improve in my time management in that area.
❏ Did you face difficulties? How did you overcome them?
My pastry dough was too crumbly and could not come together and be pressed into the fluted tin. So i took some remaining egg whites and added that to my dough to make it more pliable and i could then press it into my tin
❏ How would you have done it differently?
I could have added some water along with the egg yolk at the beginning so that the dough could have formed already and i did not need to spend more time fixing my dough.

❏ How useful were the nutritional tools?
the nutritional tools were useful when i chose my recipe as i was able to choose a recipe that did not involve a lot of oil sugar and salt, and also had sufficient vitamins from the lemon and orange.

❏ How manageable were the manipulative skills for you?
The manipulative skills were very manageable for me because I could do the pastry dough easily despite it not forming a dough initially. For the curd, it was finished within 10 minutes because I knew to  stir constantly to distribute the heat, so that the mixture could cook evenly, and do not burn on the bottom.

❏ How purposeful were the investigative activities in helping you come up with your final creation?

I  do think that I could have added more textural qualities to my painting such as using thicker strokes of paint.

I diluted the acrylic paint and blended them together to form a texture like a cloud.

Yes i do belive so as the various colours that I have used, vary in shades and dreams and imagination gives me the impression of something colourful and lively, which i do think i have achieved through the painting
