Order: The structure is retrospective because it starts in the present to continue with the story.

Geographic location
in the house in which they lived, at the beginning full of luxuries and with some servants, after the disaster they suffered (the fire) they had to resign themselves to living in a common house.

Event time
The external time is unknown because the author does not give data.

The internal time is the protagonist's whole life, from his childhood until the day he is going to die. In the text there are ellipses in the passages from one time to another more interesting. This is how he talks about his personality in childhood to talk about when he gets married.

There is suspense that has been achieved by expressing the feelings of terror and anger of the protagonist, and by leaving loose messages that make us think about it, when the cat appears a drawing on a wall, or that the cat loses its eye as the previous one, and a stain reflects a scaffold.

Hello dear readers,

It is of great importance to highlight the significant appreciation that this activity brings, that during this process we have been able to explore, learn and practice speaking the English language, counting on a cultural environment we can admire many opportunities that help the good student development. Obviously the ideas raised in class by the teacher Claudia Sumoza Alfaro, allow a great extent in the skill and way of subtracting advantages of the English language as a second language.

In the process, identifying several points of reading THE BLACK CAT, written by Edgar Allan Poe, demonstrates a series of attractions that characterizes it as an interesting way in the development of the themes. This site is designed to appropriate the reader about the readings that can be given and in which a significant contribution to personal growth is highlighted.

Thanks to the fabulous idea of creating a digital magazine, a key source of motivation is revealed by the students of the Comfenalco University Technology Foundation; creating and practicing a great possibility of interaction with the language arises.

Finally, we would like to thank our teacher Claudia Sumoza Alfaro for this due process which has been very beneficial and practical in the learning process that leads to an appropriate level and good management of the English language.

Mr. Paul is going to die the next day and recounts the causes of his sentence, which is all the following. He relates how in his childhood he felt great affection for animals and their humanity. He marries and lives in his home with a multitude of animals. His favorite pet is a cat named Pluto,
with time the protagonist changes character becoming a more irritable and moody, suffering the animal itself the consequences.

In a moment the protagonist is drunk and loses the nerves taking out an eye to the animal. Then things go back to the previous, the protagonist is still bitter but increases more with the irritation and impulses that the cat produces. So one morning he hangs him in a garden tree with a great feeling of guilt. That same night there is a fire in his house destroying his few assets. The whole house is demolished except for a wall in which the figure of a cat appears. The protagonist comes a feeling of terror that diminishes with a logical reasoning that fails to leave his conscience calm. In the later time, the protagonist does not stop suffering the remorse for what he did, and he misses the presence of the animal. One day he finds a cat similar to Pluto that has a white spot on his hair, and that continues to become a member of the family.

The next day the cat appears one-eyed and begins to follow and harass the protagonist. This begins to feel antipathy for the new pet and to feel overwhelmed because it follows him everywhere. His hatred and repulsion grew enormously when he discovered that the white spot on the cat had become clearer and showed the image of a scaffold.

One day the protagonist goes down to the basement and the cat follows him down the stairs, which almost causes an accident. This leads him to take the ax and try to him, but his wife stops him and the crazy protagonist of rage murders his own wife. He then hides the body in one of the walls of the basement and looks for the cat, but it does not appear and the protagonist, despite his recent , feels finally relieved.

taking into account the readings in English, it stands out as a timely practice to develop the speech, writing and other components of this language. English is of great importance to us as future managers of companies when carrying out a business project or activities that evidence the knowledge acquired in the process. This type of reading allows us to maintain an inter-active field with the second language, obviously appropriate to the development of the vocabulary and ability of us as students.

At this level, it has been possible to find many key points to understand the language in a practical and playful way. The entrenched methods are essential to the good development of a class full of formal tips in the vocabulary of a business administrator in the face of a situation if it involves it.
