Middle East Technical University (METU) will organize the first Astrobiology Conference in Turkey this year with the Biology and Genetics Society, which has been hosted by the Middle East Technical University (METU), together with the students of Physics department since 1986 and Turkey's most established Amateur Astronomy Society.

The first astrobiology conference organized by these two important communities in METU will be held on November 18, 2017 at Middle East Technical University.

Such scientific activities are carried out in the community room which is located in the building of physics department depending on the METU Cultural Affairs Directorate.
