The classroom created above, will be a constructivist classroom. over the. course of generations, there have been major changes in educational policy, with one major change being that students now guide their own learning in ways. As the educator of the classroom, your job is to be a active guide to promote knowledge in your students. In having a constructive class, students are more responsible for learning which creates motivated thinkers/learners. Its important for students to understand self-growth and learn the valuable skills to promote cognitive processing skills for any future endeavor.

Shared Writing: It's very important to allow students to write in order to build upon their skillset to outline and put their ideas into coherent, complete sentences. In implementing shared writing (of a text, for example), students will be able to show the teacher their level of comprehension for a given assignment. It also motivates the students to share and listen to their peers as the topics are the same, yet the ideas given differ.

Word Work: Word work is important as words are the tools students use to convey ideas. The more words students know, the more capable they will be/feel when completing a written assignment. Word work will help students in their reading and writing by focusing on spelling patterns, affixes, high-frequency words, and most importantly relationships between words.

Guided Reading: As writing is very important, effective reading is also very important. In implementing guided reading, I will provide multiple models to assist students in fluently reading a text. During guided reading, its important to focus on strategies. During independent reading times, students will be able to implement these strategies and fluently read a book on there own. The purpose is to eventually build strong, confident leaders.

ELLs will receive a native language translation for all given materials. In doing such they will be able to actively follow along with classroom instruction without falling behind due to the language barrier. Daily vocabulary words will also be completed in order to build fluency in the students new language. During the lesson, ELLs are also assigned to work in a small group with a partner. In assigning ELLs to work with a peer, the environment becomes one in which he is actively submerged in the English language (helpful for comprehension and language fluency).

A special educator, as well as an Additional Assistant assistant can be used when edifying a student with special needs. A team is NEEDED in order to effectively implement and draft an IEP, therefore during instruction, A TEAM should be present.
